TR Hardic

Hi I am Pastor TR Hardic. I  joined the Juniata Church family being appointed in July of 2015 to serve this wonderful community. I am a
Licensed Local Pastor having completed my Course of study Work at Wesley Theological seminary in Washington DC. I have been in Pastoral ministry for the past 7 years and prior to answering my call I spent 25 years working as a Registered Nurse. I worked in many areas of nursing being taught many different things that I have been blessed to have learned, now that I am caring for people in a different manner. I have been married to my wife Lisa for over 30 years and have 2 grown sons, Nate and Jared. My passions in ministry mission/outreach, youth and worship. I believe that we were created to worship God and my soul is at most peace when I lift my voice in praise to the creator. I believe that faith in action is what God calls us to. Called to be the hands and feet of Christ as we reach out to our neighbors both near and far. I believe church to be a verb rather than just four walls we gather in each Sunday. Jesus came to serve not to be served and I believe that he calls each of us to do the same. Blessings to all.

PALAZZI, LynneLynne Palazzi –Administrative Assistant /

Lynne has been married to her husband Mike, for 27 years. They started their marriage with a challenge all its own. Their blended family consists of 8 children. Over the years they have managed to get each and every one of their children through high school and/or college. They are blessed with 18 beautiful grandchildren and 1 very active great grandson. Other than their family, the end of the days’ joy comes from their 3 miniature dachshunds.

Nannette Williams – Director of Children’s Ministry

Nannette began her ministry at JUMC in July of 2017, and comes to us having forty years of ministry experience. Her walk with the Lord began at a Methodist camp meeting when she invited Jesus Christ to become the Lord of her life. Since that time, her relationship with Jesus has kept her strong and the power of the Holy Spirit has sustained her through many high and low times in her life.

Nannette and her husband Rodnee have lived in Altoona since 2010, having been transferred to the area while working as Salvation Army Officers. They have two grown children, both living in the area. Their daughter and her husband have blessed them with three beautiful grandchildren. The Williams are also blessed to be Nana and Papa to a beautiful god-daughter.

After years of working with children and youth in Churches and Christian Schools, and receiving many certificates for training, she finally received a ministry degree from a Salvation Army College in NY and became an ordained minister in that denomination.

Nannette believes that a deep understanding of scripture and a well-grounded relationship with Jesus Christ is what our Children and teens need to face the struggles of this world. God has blessed her with creativity and a love of laughter. She believes that students can have fun and still learn. She also enjoys seeing students develop a love of learning. Her prayer is that God will be glorified in every area of her life and ministry.

“I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who has given me strength, that he considered me faithful, appointing me to his service.”  1 Timothy 1:12
