JUMC Mustard Seed provides two to three days worth of groceries to families in emergent need. Help with contacting and referrals are available to families for the food banks in the area.
JUMC Mustard Seed and the Domestic Abuse Program of Blair County have teamed up. The women and children who are being served by this joint effort will be women who have made the decision to leave an abusive relationship. These women and children are those who are trying to set up housekeeping and begin a fresh new life.
JUMC Mustard Seed will provide these families with three days of groceries and staples. On average, four or five households will need assistance monthly.
Sponsorship Opportunities: Donate food, gift cards, or sign up to provide food items to JUMC Mustard Seed monthly.
Please keep the JUMC Mustard Seed ministry in your prayers and the families that will be reached through this ministry.
